Zivrrl Privacy Policy
Effective Date: February 26, 2020
Scope of the Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy outlines how Zivrrl (collectively referred to as "Zivrrl", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares information about you ("you", "your", or "user"). It applies when you use our website (available at Zivrrl.com), any applications we offer (including mobile apps), all products and services provided through our website or related apps, our social media pages (such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook), and any other interactions with us (collectively called the "Services").
This Policy also defines the legal rights and responsibilities of both parties regarding "Personal Information"—data that identifies you or can be used to identify you, such as your name, contact details, account information, and details about how you use our website. Zivrrl takes the security of your Personal Information seriously and is committed to upholding your privacy rights.
Applicability of Zivrrl’s Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy is part of our Terms of Use, which govern your access to and use of the Services. For simplicity, "use" herein refers to accessing, using, transmitting, or exchanging information, as well as utilizing features, functions, or activities related to the Services.
This Policy applies to Personal Information we collect from or about you through the methods described below (see "Information We Collect" and "How We Use Your Information") to provide the Services, regardless of how you access or use the Services. It also covers targeted content—including online offers and advertisements for our products and services—that you may see on third-party websites, platforms, or apps ("Offer Sites") based on your online activity. These Offer Sites may have their own privacy policies and terms; we encourage you to review them before use.
This Policy does not apply to information collected by third parties, such as our service providers (including shopline, Inc. for e-commerce hosting, PayPal, Inc. for payment processing) and social media platforms. The collection and use of your information by these third parties are governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their compliance.
Additionally, this Policy does not apply to websites linked to Zivrrl’s website or accessible through the Services. We may provide links to third-party sites we believe are useful, but we have not verified their security or privacy practices. Accessing these sites through our links means you will be subject to their privacy policies. Zivrrl is not liable for the content, privacy, or security of linked sites—direct any questions to the respective site’s contacts.
Acceptance of the Privacy Policy
By using Zivrrl’s Services (including our website), you acknowledge and accept the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the Services. Your continued use of the Services after changes to this Policy are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Age of Consent
By accessing Zivrrl’s Services, you confirm that you are of legal age in your state or province of residence. If you are of legal age, you may also grant consent for your minor dependents to use the Services.
Information We Collect
Information You Provide Voluntarily
We collect information you directly share with us through various interactions, such as using our website, shopping with us, calling our support team, creating an online account, signing up for emails, participating in giveaways, sweepstakes, contests, promotions, or surveys, communicating with us via social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram), reserving a Zivrrl yoga class, requesting customer support, applying for a job, or otherwise engaging with us.
Providing Personal Information is voluntary, but failure to provide requested information may prevent us from offering certain products, services, or information. The types of information you may provide include (but are not limited to): name, shipping address, billing address, zip/postal code, telephone number, email address, birthdate, credit card/payment details, product and communication preferences, demographic information, and any other information you choose to disclose.
In some cases, you may provide information about others (e.g., scheduling a yoga class for someone, purchasing a gift card for delivery, creating a shared wishlist, or shipping products to a third party). We use this information solely to fulfill your request and will not send marketing communications to these contacts unless they separately opt in.
Information Collected Automatically
To enhance your online experience, Zivrrl, our partners, and/or vendors automatically collect certain information when you access or use our website or Offer Sites, interact with our emails or online ads, or transact with us. This includes:
Log File Information: Details about your website use, such as browser type, access dates/times, pages viewed, IP address, and the referring link used to access our site. An IP address is a unique identifier for your device’s internet connection, enabling our server to deliver content. We aggregate this data to analyze trends (e.g., traffic flow, feature usage) for internal purposes (e.g., improving the website, diagnosing issues) and may share aggregated, non-identifiable data with third parties.
Cookies and Similar Technologies: Our website, online ads, and emails use first and third-party cookies, pixel tags, and other tools to collect information like browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, and other actions. Cookies are small data files stored on your device that facilitate navigation, personalize your experience, help us understand usage patterns, measure marketing effectiveness, and enhance security. Most browsers accept cookies by default, but you can adjust settings to refuse cookies or receive notifications. Note that disabling cookies may prevent certain features (e.g., shopping cart) from working properly. For more details, see our Cookie Policy.
When using Google Analytics, we anonymize your IP address before storage or processing. To opt out of Google Analytics tracking across all websites, visit https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Transaction Information: Details about purchases or returns, such as product specifics, transaction date, and location.
Mobile Information: If accessing our website via a mobile device, we may collect location data and unique device identifiers.
Information from Third-Party Sources
We also receive information about you from third parties, including service providers (e.g., shopline, PayPal, Google) and social media platforms where you interact with us. This information is added to your account profile.
Information We Do Not Intend to Collect
When you create an account, you may provide details like name, email address, password, and birthdate. Zivrrl does not intentionally collect or retain sensitive personal information, data related to minority status, or third-party data not authorized by this Policy or contractual agreements. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the legal age of consent, and the Services are not intended for such users.
Text Message/SMS Consent and Opt-Out
We may send text messages via automated dialing systems ("Text Messages") in the following scenarios:
Shipping Alerts: If you provide your mobile number, you consent to receive automated shipping updates from our third-party shipper, DHL Express ("DHL"). Message and data rates apply (check with your carrier). To opt out, follow the instructions in DHL’s Text Messages. For DHL’s privacy practices, refer to their official policy.
Marketing Text Messages: If you opt in, we may send periodic Text Messages about products or promotions we think you’ll find relevant. Consent is voluntary and not required for purchases. To opt out, follow the instructions in our Text Messages. Message and data rates apply.
We may share your mobile number with service providers assisting with these activities but will not share it with third parties for their own purposes without your consent. Note that Text Message delivery depends on third-party carriers—we do not guarantee availability, performance, or liability for delays or failures. Zivrrl disclaims liability related to third-party carriers or service providers.
Security of Personal Information Transmission
Transmitting information via the internet or email is not fully secure. While we use commercially reasonable efforts to protect Personal Information you submit, we cannot guarantee the security of data in transit—any transmission is at your own risk. Once received, we implement appropriate physical, technical, and operational safeguards to prevent unauthorized access.

How We Store Your Information
We store your Personal Information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected—whether to provide the Services, serve our legitimate interests, or comply with legal obligations. We may retain information to the full extent permitted by law.
We regularly review stored information and securely delete or irreversibly anonymize it when no longer needed for user, legal, or business purposes. Deleted information is removed from active databases but may remain in archives for legal or record-keeping purposes.
How We Protect Your Personal Information
We implement physical, technical, and operational safeguards to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access, use, loss, or destruction:
Operational Measures: Restricting access to Personal Information to authorized staff and service providers who need it to fulfill their roles.
Technical Measures: Using password protection, encryption, and secure storage systems.
Secure Transactions: Protecting online orders with Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which encrypts data transmitted between your device and our servers. Look for a closed lock or unbroken key in your browser to confirm an SSL-secured connection.
Note that emails and other electronic communications may not be secure—avoid sending confidential information via email.
International Data Transfer and Your Consent
Consent to International Transfer
Zivrrl is based in the United States, where data privacy laws may differ from those in the European Union or other jurisdictions. Your Personal Information will be stored and processed in the U.S. and may be transferred to third parties (e.g., shopline, affiliates) located in other countries.
By submitting Personal Information or using the Services, you consent to the transfer, processing, and storage of your information outside your country of origin for the purposes outlined in this Policy. Some recipient countries may not have equivalent data protection standards, but we ensure protection through:
- Transferring to countries with privacy laws deemed adequate (e.g., EEA-equivalent standards).
- Using contractual safeguards requiring recipients to meet EEA-level data protection standards.
- Transferring to organizations participating in the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield framework (ensuring consistent data protection).

While we take steps to protect your information, data security cannot be guaranteed. If a security breach occurs, we may notify you by posting a notice on our website or sending an email to the address we have on file. This notice will count as notification to any individuals for whom you are acting, and you agree to pass it on.
